  The risks present are clearly outlined and explained.  The alternatives are given in sequence or priority and safety showing the process of evaluation.

What is this artifact ?

  A multi-day program designed for Mathers Island Inc.

When and where is it from?

  Completed in IDPNDP during level 3 of ODAN

What does this prove?

  This document proves the ability to plan sustainable outdoor educational programs.

How is this proven?

  The practices in the program explain the low and no impact activities such as responsable client numbers for the land stability as well as many activities designed to educate clients of sustainable practices.

Where will this learning be useful?

  This project will be used directly by Mathers Island Inc.  Many of the practices can and will be used in other, future projects.

To whom is this important?

   This information is important to anyone making use of the outdoors whether they want to go for a walk, a paddle, or even grow and cook a meal.  Any outdoor enthusiast will find this information important.

  A 5-day interpretive sea kayak trip.

  The program was designed in Leadership during level 1

  The work was compiled solely by myself 

What does this prove?

  This proves the ability to plan an educational program meant for outdoor enthusiasts.

How is this proven?

  Throughout the trip a main focus is on learning about the history and growth of the environment.  Many of the session in the itinerary touch on such activities.

Where will this learning be useful?

  This training directly pertains to a company that I wish to open in New Brunswick in the future.

  The ability to compile and effectively present research and data in written and visual mediums profesional manner.

How is this proven?

  The balance between visual and written communication shows an understanding of how an audience can be stimulated and educated in a simple manner.

Where will this learning be useful?

  This skill can be used to obtain a contract or to present figures when forming a proposal.  It can also be used to educate people of all ages.
