extreme weather conditions.

  A rock collection

  I alone compiled and identified the collection.

What does this prove?

  The ability to take learning int he classroom and apply to identification in the natural environment.

How is this proven?

  The specific identification of each rock and its proper name proves the understanding of the different material, shape, physical features and appearance.

Where will this learning be useful?

  On trips and when climbing.

  These certificates prove my ability to respond to situations in a wilderness and flood based emergency.

How is this proven?

  A assertation of these certificates is acheived only through the complettion of courses involving rescue scenarios.

  WFR will be particularly useful in gaining employment in any outdoor facility in Canada.

  To obtain the cert. I was required to demonstrate a variety of skills in a canoe as well as teach a land based lesson on canoe history and anatomy.
