  The logs identify the weather risks and route and include changes made out of necessity throughout the day.

  The specific identification of each rock and its proper name proves the understanding of the different material, shape, physical features and appearance.

What does this prove?

  These certificates prove my ability to respond to situations in a wilderness and flood based emergency.

How is this proven?

  A assertation of these certificates is acheived only through the complettion of courses involving rescue scenarios.

Where will this learning be useful?

  WFR will be particularly useful in gaining employment in any outdoor facility in Canada.

What does this prove?

  My ability to teach canoeing at a basic level.

How is this proven?

  To obtain the cert. I was required to demonstrate a variety of skills in a canoe as well as teach a land based lesson on canoe history and anatomy.

Where will this learning be useful?

  This will be put to use in future employment at camps and canoe based tripping.
